Garbo Of The Far East

IN THE LATE AUTUMN OF 2006, I TRAVELED 6 CITIES (HKG>ICN
>HKG>SIN>KUL>HKG>PEK>HKG) IN 7 DAYS FOR MONT BLANC, TO CAPTURE DIVAS REPRESENTING 7 ASIAN CITIES. HERE'S KRISTY CHUNG FOR HONG KONG, CHARLIE YEUNG FOR TAIPEI, LI BING-BING FOR BEIJING, KIM SO-YEON FOR SEOUL, FANN WONG FOR SINGAPORE AND TIARA JACQUELINA FOR KUALA LUMPUR. SPECIAL THANKS TO RITZ CARLTON FOR THEIR CONSISTANT DECOR, WITHOUT IT THIS STORY WOULDN'T CAME TOGETHER.

GARBOS RE-CREATED BY RICK CHIN. WARDROBE CREATION BY KENNETH CHAN.

Digging Up Old Works Is A Lot Of Fun

When Your Furcoat Smells Salty,It's Probably Me...

F-K49.jpg

WHEN FASHION DIRECTOR RUBIK ASKED ME WHAT TO DO WITH BUNCH OF NICE FUR COATS, THE VISUAL CAME RIGHT ACROSS MY MIND IS CONCRETE OR SAND, WHERE TEXTURE CONTRASTS. THEN MY MIND WONDERED BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES WHEN MY MOM BROUGHT ME TO HER BIRTHPLACE MACAU AND SHOWED ME THE AMAZING BLACK SAND BEACH.

WHEN WE ALL UNLOAD OUR EQUIPMENTS & FURS WE REALISED HAC SA (BLACK SAND) BEACH IS NOT HAC AT ALL NOW! IT'S NORMAL SANDS MARBLING WITH THE ORIGINAL BLACK. ASKING THE LOCALS THEY SAID "NO MORE BLACK SANDS THESE 10 YEARS...". BUT LUCKILY WE GOT PHOTOSHOP! (HOW SAD).
